  • Student's Family Economic Status

It means that not all students can afford technological devices and connectivity  for online learning. This becomes a huge challenge to teachers for they need to find ways to make sure that every learner gets access to educational resources.

On the other hand, it serves as an opportunity for different sector, groups and agencies to join hands and to get connected with each other for a common purpose of contribution to educate all students.

  • Unstable Internet Connections

Teaching  and learning online turns unpleasant when amidst online class, internet connection slows down and freeze. In this case, learning is delayed. It really poses a huge challenge to conduct  a productive  virtual class with unstable internet connection. Yet it becomes an opportunity for telecom companies to upgrade their services to a more reliable internet connectivity. More so, a chance for teachers and learners to adjust themselves during unexpected lagging - off.

  •  Home Distractions

Unlike in classroom where teachers and students have face to face interactions, it is difficult for students to concentrate online due to distractions like temptations to use other gadgets, open other new tabs, go to other social media networks. surf the internet, chat with other friends and play games. These temptations are not easy to avoid, but they also pave the way to strive for a balance activity once the consequence of yielding into those distractions is experienced.
